16 November 2023: ClearVue Technologies Limited (ASX:CPV) (ClearVue or the Company), a leading
smart building materials company, enters the African market by appointing Concept Business Group in
South Africa as a new distributor.
Under the five-year agreement, Concept Business Group secures exclusive distribution rights for
ClearVuePV solar integrated glass units (IGUs) in South Africa, Botswana and Lesotho and non-exclusive
rights to distribute to other African territories. This agreement aligns with South Africa’s incentives to
help businesses contribute to a more sustainable energy future and transition to renewable solutions,
as part of government-backed programs to address their challenging energy grid.
Commenting on the agreement, Martin Deil, Global CEO of ClearVue, said:
"We are pleased our first commercial agreement in Africa is with Concept Business Group. Their
strong presence in the region and existing networks makes them an ideal partner to distribute
ClearVue's high-energy clear solar glass technology to South Africa and neighbouring countries
and capitalise on the growing demand for clean energy.
“The market opportunity in Africa is immense as the region looks for solutions to enhance their
existing energy infrastructure. South Africa in particular faces significant challenges with its
energy grid.
“Our solar glazing technology provides building owners a tangible path to net zero by
improving the thermal performance of windows which reduces heating and cooling energy
demands and costs, and by providing clean energy on-site. Importantly, our products are easily
integrated into existing manufacturing capability, with no modifications to industry-standard
glazing production lines with minimal impacts on production time. With our solar glazing
technology, companies can also take advantage of South African government incentives to help
businesses make the transition to renewables.

energy solutions. Our solar glass technology is proven to improve energy efficiency and reduce
carbon emissions.”
Craig Boyd, Managing Director of Concept Business Group, said:
"We are delighted to collaborate with ClearVue to bring its cutting-edge solar glass technology
to South Africa. The increasing regulatory environment and the need for sustainable solutions
creates a significant market for ClearVue's products. We look forward to leveraging our local
expertise and network to promote the adoption of clean energy solutions in the region."
